are a very special location on the Hartland Peninsula, North Devon

Our holiday cottages are situated within the centre of the North Devon Biosphere, which is also a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within an easy drive of 12 outstanding holiday beaches. Hartland Peninsula is a great place to explore; with a shipwreck museum, a public house, rock pools and unparalleled scenery. The surrounding area also provides stunning opportunities for photographers and amateur geologists. The long sandy beaches of both North Cornwall and North Devon offer opportunities to surf, body-board, kayak, swim or just sunbathe.

We are only 2 miles from the South-West Coastal Path

The quiet coastal village of Bucks Mills, and the picturesque fishing village of Clovelly are also nearby, along with quiet coves at Mill Mouth and Blackpool.  There are also the extensive National Trust beaches at Duckpool and Sandymouth to explore and enjoy. Slightly further away, near Bideford, are the beaches of Westward Ho!, and Northam Burrows, both of which are not just great holiday venues for a family of all ages, but are also perfect for dog walking (restrictions applying during the summer months), fishing, beach combing, sandcastles, kite surfing on the water, and kite buggies along the beach.
